Sheriff’s Deputies from the Ojai Police station were dispatched to investigate multiple reports of a small plane crash in the Ojai Valley. The callers gave various locations for deputies to check before locating the plane wreckage next to the residence at 24 Krotona Road, in the Krotona Institute of Theosophy.

Deputies found a single engine small plane on an asphalt roadway, occupied by two males. Both males were killed as a result of the impact. Numerous resources from the Ventura Sheriff’s Department, Ventura County Fire Department, Life Line Ambulance, California Highway Patrol and the F.A.A. responded to the scene of the accident to render aid and initiate investigations.
