Members of the Sheriff’s West County Street Narcotics Enforcement Team concluded a 2-week investigation into cocaine sales occurring in Thousand Oaks. Investigators received information that Luis Vera was selling cocaine from his residence in the 600 block of Glen Oaks in Thousand Oaks. On July 29, Vera was observed in a parking lot at the intersection of Santa Rosa Road and Verdugo Way, Camarillo, conducting what appeared to be a narcotics transaction. When contacted, Vera was found to be in possession of five ounces of cocaine. The subsequent search of his residence revealed an additional three ounces of cocaine and a small amount of methamphetamine. Street value of the cocaine is estimated at $10,830.00. Suspects Delgado, Pacheco-Lopez, and Medina were arrested during the transaction for conspiracy to sell cocaine. All suspects were booked into the Main Jail.
