On 8/19/2009, a female victim approached the entrance of the Sportsman Restaurant in Camarillo when she was contacted by a male subject who demanded her car keys. The two struggled briefly and the suspect managed to gain control of the keys while pushing the victim to the ground. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. There was no weapon used in the assault.

The suspect then fled in the victim’s vehicle, which is described as a tan 2001 Toyota Camry, California license 4SWN838. The suspect is described as a white male, tan, short blonde hair, 5-10 to 6 feet and slender build. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt.

The preliminary investigation indicated the suspect might also be involved in a stolen vehicle incident in Camarillo on 8/18/09.
