On July 12, 2011, a resident in the 2700 block of Via Vela reported a residential burglary. The victim reported the crime occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. During the crime two-laptop computers, video games, and money were stolen. Several of the stolen items were recovered at the time of arrest.

Both Mendoza and Kelley will be booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for burglary. Bail is set at $20,000.
