After identifying the subjects at the location, deputies discovered they, too, were on probation for various charges. A K-9 also assisted with probation searches. The K-9 located methamphetamine, marijuana, and several different items of drug paraphernalia. Subsequently, six subjects were arrested for various drug charges, including sections 11377(a), 11550(a), and 11375(b)(2) of the Health & Safety Code. Sterling was also booked for an outstanding felony warrant and Penal Code section 148.9, providing false information to a police officer.
