Ventura County Sheriff's Department

Sheriff Geoff Dean is pleased to announce the graduation of the Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center’s Academy Class #2013-2. The graduation ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at the Oxnard Performing Arts and Convention Center, 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard, California. The guest speaker for the graduation ceremony will be County Clerk and Recorder, Mark A. Lunn.

The recruits have completed 23 weeks of instruction provided through the combined efforts of local law enforcement agencies and other criminal justice entities. The intense training and education prepares these officers for the responsibilities of serving their communities.
