3 Arrested for Oxycodone sales

On July 17, 2013, the Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit completed a two week investigation into three Simi Valley residents selling Oxycodone. William Payne, Ivan Sauer, and Gary Thompson were arrested for conspiracy to sell Oxycodone after detectives obtained information the three were actively involved in selling the drug. Search warrants were served at Payne and Sauer’s residence in the 5300 block of Willow Oak Street in Simi Valley and Thompson’s residence in the 700 block of Chantry Circle in Simi Valley. Evidence related to the sales was recovered at the residences, as well as a shotgun, rifle, apparent steroids and human growth hormone.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s East County Narcotics team and Simi Valley Police Department’s Narcotics Unit also assisted in the investigation.

All three individuals were booked into the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
