Beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Sept. 1, 2009, in Torrance, CA. She was born Peggy Joe Blythe, on Aug. 29, 1932, in Coweta, OK. As a young child Peggy moved with her family to Fillmore, Calif and graduated from Fillmore High School in 1951. After High School Peggy joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Knox, KY until 1954. Peggy was deeply loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. Peggy is survived by her three children, Robert Button of Las Vegas, NV; Joyce Button of Weehawken, NJ; and Carol Button of San Pedro, Calif; grandchildren Frank, Katie and Alexandria; sisters, Willa Chambers of Moses Lake, WA; Bernice Michael of Fillmore, Calif; and Mary Pervis of Libby, Mt. A memorial service honoring her life is planned for early November.
