It’s with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend Maria Guadalupe Sierra Rodriguez.
Maria was born on August 1, 1936 in Aquiles Serdan (Santiaguillo), Municipio de Zamora, Michoacan. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the age of 81.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Rogelio Sierra Barbosa and grandson Dennis Lopez.
She is survived by her children: Modesto Sierra (Lisa), Rogelio Sierra (Suzie), Vivian Sierra (Nellie) and her grandchildren Rogelio Sierra Jr. Vanessa Sierra, David Sierra, Joseph Sierra, Gabriel Sierra, Cirena Medrano and many nieces and nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 6:45pm on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at Chapel of Angels 600 E. Pleasant Street Santa Paula, Ca. followed with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 10, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 1048 W. Ventura Street in Fillmore Ca. Burial to follow at Bardsdale Cemetery 1698 So. Sespe Street in Fillmore, Ca.
