Lori Elizabeth Murphy, 57, of Santa Paula, California, passed away on September 6, 2026. Born in Ventura on March 15, 1969, Lori was raised in Fillmore and spent much of her life in Fillmore and Santa Paula.
Lori was strong, independent, loving, funny, and fiercely loyal. Family meant everything to her. She spoke her mind, made friends easily, and would do whatever she could for someone she loved.
Her children were her pride and joy. She loved her grandson, nieces, and nephews immensely. The loss of her beloved son, Levi Skyler Waugh, broke her heart, but her love for him remained with her always.
Lori is survived by her daughters, Taylor Jade (Waugh) Hall and Hazy Marie Murphy; grandson, Logan; brothers Dennis, Jim, Tim, and Scott Murphy; sister Gina Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Murphy; brother Joseph Murphy; and son, Levi Skyler Waugh.
Lori will be deeply missed for her laughter, smile, honesty, strength, and the genuine concern she showed for those she loved. She was deeply loved, fiercely protective, and one of a kind. She will never be forgotten.
