Limhi Perez (1983-2022)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Limhi Perez on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, due to complications from pneumonia. Limhi was born on August 24th, 1983, to loving parents Fernando and Cristela Perez. Limhi was raised in the city of Fillmore, along with his 4 brothers and sister, where he attended school and enjoyed playing baseball as a youngster (Limhi would go on to coach his nephews little league teams). Limhi graduated from Fillmore High School in 2001. Shortly thereafter he welcomed his first daughter, Krystella, with then wife Isabel. Limhi began working for UPS around this same time and eventually worked his way up to a full time driver. Limhi enjoyed his job and all of the coworkers, customers, and dogs he met along his route. Through out Limhi’s life, he enjoyed so many things; the Misfits, his Dobermans, the Los Angeles Dodgers, snowboarding, spending time on the lake with his brothers, riding his motorcycle, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Limhi was instantly won over by his charming personality. Limhi was outgoing, funny, and smart; he made people laugh without even trying. Limhi was never afraid to speak his mind, even if it meant rattling some cages along the way. Recently, Limhi welcomed his second daughter, Ellianna, into this world with Jenna. There was nothing that Limhi loved more than being a daddy. In addition to his fatherly duties, Limhi always made time for his friends. He was considerate, kind, and he loved hard. His spirit will be truly missed. Limhi was proceeded in death by brother Fernando Perez Jr, grandmother Manuella Felix Perez, and grandparents Juan Antonio and Isabel Granados. Limhi is survived by his parents, Fernando and Cristela Perez, daughters, Krystella (Isabel) and Ellianna (Jenna), brothers and sisters Jared and Julie Perez, Gloria Perez, Jose and Araceli Pascual, Alex Perez, and Jacob and Diana Perez, as well as grandfather Fransisco Perez. Limhi also leaves behind 8 nieces and 6 nephews, whom he loved dearly, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. The world will not be the same without this special soul. We love you. Till me meet again!
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, from 9-10 AM, and the service, from 10-11 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1017 First Street, Fillmore, on Friday, January 14th, 2022.
