Joseph Wayne Wheatley (1964-2023)

A Loving Father, Grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on February 4, 2023.
Wayne was born in Santa Paula, California on February 5, 1964. As a child, he lived in Fillmore, California with his mother, Shirley, father Glenn, and his sister Rosie, and brother, Larry Wheatley. Wayne had many aunts, uncles, and cousins in his family who will always remember him as Waynie and Uncle Waynie. He was also known as Big Wayne by many of his friends. He will be missed dearly.
Wayne loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing pool, drawing, fishing, and cooking. He loved his family and spoke very highly of his mother, Shirley.
Wayne had a big heart and if he could, he would always help his family and friends when needed.
Wayne held different jobs during his life. In his younger years, Wayne was employed at Magic Mountain. He also worked at Thatcher's Glass, Starving Students Moving Company, and Rasmussen Construction Company. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a big man with a big heart
Wayne is survived by his son, Joseph Wheatley, his grandson, Vincent Wheatley, granddaughter, Aleigha Wheatley, sister Rosie Spiller, and brother, Larry Wheatley.
Wayne, you will be missed forever until we meet again in Heaven.
