Joseph Murphy passed away at home after a brief illness on 8/10/2025, He was 59 years old.
He was born June 13, 1966, in Granada Hills, CA and lived the majority of his life in Fillmore and Santa Paula.
Joe graduated from Fillmore High School in 1984.
Joe worked in various jobs throughout his life. He worked in the oilfield tubular inspection business, a roustabout and operator for Oryx Energy Company, and as a general plumbing and construction contractor.
Joe is survived by his son, Jordan, two daughters, Karyssa and Joslynn. His grandchildren Jacob, Jackson and Addison. His sisters Regina and Lori, his brothers Dennis (Kim), James (Diane), Timothy and Scott and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe is proceeded in death by his parents John D. Murphy and Hazel Dalzell, his brother Eddie Murphy and
his nephew Levi Waugh.
A private celebration of life for Joe may be planned at a future date.
Joe loved spending time with his family and friends, he had a huge heart, a constant smile on his face and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by family & friends.
