Irene Real Kutbach passed away peacefully on March 15, 2009 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and friends. Irene was a born in Fillmore, CA on July 25, 1924 to loving parents, Joe and Lillie Real. She was a resident of Ventura County residing in Piru and Fillmore for over 84 years.
Our Mother loved her family and friends, her arms and heart were open too everyone she touched and she was “Mom” to many. Her home hosted many Barbeques, get together’s and the infamous Friday night “Board Meetings” She loved to dance, first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave. She was very special to many people in so many ways.
She was the second oldest of eleven close net siblings, who she loved and cared for dearly, Elma Ponce husband Raymond, Virgie Ortiz husband Fred, Lucile Fort husband Larry, Emily Cervantez husband Pete and George Real wife Mary. Her sons, daughters and their spouses survive her. Frank and Annie Lozano, William Kutbach, Samuel and Patsy Torres, Kathy Kutbach, Macario and Patty Torres, Margaret Willis, Augie Kutbach, Ricky Kutbach, Hilda Hoffman and Manny and Colette Golson. She was blessed with 30 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren.
Irene is presided in death by her parents, husband Ernest Kutbach, sons, Ernest Kutbach Jr, Eddie Lozano, George Kutbach, and brothers, Joe, Alex, Billy, Dickie, and Freddie Real.
The Family would like to give special thanks to all who loved and cared for Irene and who have helped us in our hour of need.
Viewing will be held, on Friday, March 20, at Skillin – Carroll Mortuary in Fillmore from 9 am to 11:30, with Rosary at 10 am. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Saint Frances Church in Fillmore with burial following immediately at Bardsdale Cemetery.
