Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Highway 126 East of Piru
On Friday, January 10th at 9:30pm a vehicle fire was reported on Highway 126 east of Piru, and approximately 3 miles west of the Los Angeles County line. The fire started in the cab of a stopped semi-truck, causing all lanes to close to through traffic while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. Traffic began flowing between east and westbound lanes by 10:07pm, and lanes re-opened completely later that evening. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
