Vegetation Fire Breaks Out on 4th of July

On Saturday, July 4th at 10:30pm, Ventura County Fire crews responded to a fire near the 1700 block of Goodenough Road, north of Fillmore. Once on scene fire fighters were able to extinguish the flames by 11:43pm. No injuries or damages were reported at the time of the 2-acre fire; cause is under investigation.
