Truck Takes Out Pole

At approximately 3:45 PM, 3-11-16, Fillmore deputies and fire personnel responded to a non-injury collision at 220 E. Telegraph Rd. The driver, 47-year-old Hector Barajas of Piru, was eastbound SR-126/Telegraph Rd. He was driving at an unsafe speed for conditions (wet road) and, while trying to avoid colliding into the back of another vehicle, swerved, lost control, and collided with a telephone pole at the address.
