On Thursday, June 18, at approximately 10:48 a.m., the Fillmore Police Department, Fillmore City Fire Department, and AMR Paramedics were dispatched to a reported traffic collision at the intersection of A Street and River Street. Deputies arrived and located two vehicles involved, with a total of four patients reporting injuries. Fire personnel requested three ambulances to respond to the scene. Two patients were transported to a local hospital; the conditions of the patients were not immediately available. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
