The St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church Festival was held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, and they went all out! The popular silent auction offered dozens of treat-filled baskets, pictured above. The Blessing of the Animals draws all kinds of critters, including turkeys, pictured below. The annual ticket raffle/lottery was held, with the big prize of $2,000. The Stations of the Cross tractor ride was a fun addition, along with a Bounce House. Live music, games and great food and drink rounded out the fun-filled day. Photo credit Gazette staff.
