Fillmore Police Chief Eduardo “Lalo” Malagon was recognized for his 25 years of service to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the community.

Fillmore Police Chief Eduardo “Lalo” Malagon was recently recognized for 25 years of dedicated service with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chief Malagon has served in Detention Services, Patrol Services, and the Special Crimes Unit/Intelligence. He has also held specialized assignments with the Tactical Response Team, served as a SWAT Operator, and later as a SWAT Supervisor.
“I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to serve as Chief of Police and to lead the dedicated members of this department. It has been an honor to uphold the trust of our Fillmore community and to advance our shared commitment to professionalism, integrity, and public service.”
