On Saturday, July 1st at approximately 7 p.m. Fillmore Fire responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Ventura Street and Orange Grove. Upon arrival they found a smoldering motorcycle on the ground, and two injured patients. The motorcycle had collided with an SUV. The two patients on the motorcycle received moderate injuries and were transported to Santa Paula Hospital for further evaluation. The accident is under investigation by the Sheriffs Department.
