On Monday, May 26th, 2025, Bardsdale Cemetery held its annual Memorial Day Service. At 11am the public was invited to honor those who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. This year’s speaker was local resident Chris Gurrola, son of local residents Tim and Amy Gurrola. Also, the Rt. Rev. Bishop Ordinary Robert Hammond spoke. Music was provided by local resident Greg Agostinelli and Robin Shelnut. The local VFW Post 9637 and Boy Scouts assisted with the program which started with a fly-over by David Vanoni, David Swett, Kurt Young and Eric Johnson. Taps was performed at the end of the program by board member Bill Morris. Water and cookies were provided after the service. Photo credit Lisa Hammond.
