Graffiti Covered Railcars Draw Complaints
Nearly a quarter-mile of “belly dump”-type railroad cars are being parked on the tracks between Grand Avenue and 7th Street in Fillmore. They are completely covered with gang graffiti and have become a major eyesore and attractive nuisance, allegedly affecting property values. Repeated letters requesting owners, Sierra Northern Railway, to move the cars have been ignored.
