Follow-Up on Fight Investigation Leads to Arrest

On 03/07/2025, just after 5:00 PM, deputies from the Sheriff’s Fillmore Station responded to the 800 block of Edison Lane
in Fillmore reference 15 to 20 individuals fighting.

Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspects were affiliated with a Fillmore criminal street gang and had fled the area
prior to law enforcement arrival. During the preliminary investigation, deputies determined there was probable cause to
arrest multiple suspects for gang-related crimes including assault with a deadly weapon. Detectives with the Fillmore
Bureau of Investigation collaborated with patrol personnel on the investigation and quickly identified several suspects.

Later that evening, detectives, patrol deputies, Sheriff’s K9 Unit, and detectives with the West County Special Enforcement
Unit located and arrested three gang members involved in the assault and determined there were other suspects outstanding.

On 04/23/2025, detectives from various investigative units with the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Fillmore Station with
follow-up to the assault investigation by serving a multi-location search warrant in Fillmore and Santa Paula. During the
warrant services, detectives located additional evidence linking the suspects to the assault and their affiliation with a

criminal street gang.

Additionally, one juvenile male was arrested for his involvement in the assault, street terrorism, and possession of an
imitation firearm.
