I have lived in Fillmore for 53 years, all my life. I got my first start in movies here in Fillmore and my first acting and stunt credit on a small film shot here in 1997 called “Momma Dolly.” I also got my vouchers to be able to join the Screen Actor Guild Union (SAG) working on a TV show during the Northridge earthquake called, “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”. The set was destroyed because of the earthquake and was held off for a week until the sets were rebuilt. They ended up finishing the sequence at the old dairy at the end of town on Old Telegraph Road and dressed it up like a 1940’s Hollywood back lot.
From that point on I moved on to doing extra-work, stand-in, acting/commercials, stunts and stunt coordinating. A lot of my work is listed on IMDB, the internet movie database.
I’ve also been in local bands here in town for 30 years and played several places on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, and at Fillmore City Hall and the Fillmore Towne Theater. I am now a worship leader at my church, Lifepoint Church here in Fillmore, on 1st and C Street.
I recently traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina to work on a movie short called “Boatlift 9/11”, filmed on the Cape Fear River. It’s about the maritime vessels that saved people on 9/11. The story is of a mother and daughter with a tugboat who were caught in the middle of the 9/11 tragedy and saved lives. It is a true story written by a woman who live in New York and witnessed it firsthand. I was an assistant stunt coordinator on the 20-minute project and played “Amed”. Also, my wife, LeAnna Foster, was the set medic on set, and stunt-doubled for the main actress, Sophia Helin.

We are having the Red-Carpet Hollywood Premiere on September 11, 2026, for the 25th anniversary of the tragedy.
