Fillmore Citizens Recognized for Community Service
On Tuesday, December 9, the Fillmore City Council recognized several citizens. Pictured above is Nancy Rodriguez along with her family and former Mayor Christina Villaseñor who honored her with the City of Fillmore Community Spirit Award for all her hard work and dedication to the community. Also pictured is Villaseñor with Andy Klittich, Fillmore Rotary Club member, who received recognition on behalf of the club for the donation of the Christmas tree for Fillmore’s annual Tree Lighting that took place Sunday, November 30.

At last Tuesday’s City Council meeting the city recognized Tanya Melgosa and Leticia Rameriz of Estrellas Market (pictured left) with former Mayor Christina Villaseñor for their participation and donation of support to the business Bingo game. Pictured right is Theresa Robledo of Diamond Realty for hosting the Gingerbread House Contest during the annual City Christmas Tree Lighting held on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Other contributors not in attendance were Lemon Tree Embroidery for the Snow Play Area, Fillmore Town Theatre, Vintage Pleasures, Cielito Lindo Beauty Salon, The Nest, Fillmore Family Store, Roan Mills, Body Image, Cota’s Barber N Style and Central Nails.
