Perce’s Kenpo Karate owner/instructor Sifu Paul Perce (right) was promoted to 9th degree black belt on November 22 in Fillmore by 10th degree black belt Sifu Jesus Flores (left) from Flores Bros., Kenpo Karate studio in Oxnard. Paul has been training for over 43 years in American Kenpo Karate. January will be his 30th year of owning and teaching at his studio in Fillmore. Paul teaches Kenpo Karate, Kickboxing, Kali, Jiu-Jitsu at Perce’s Kenpo Karate, 515 W. Ventura Street, Suite A, Fillmore. On January 10, 2026, from noon to 2pm, he will be holding an open house to celebrate his 30th year in business in Fillmore--there will be a brief self-defense demonstration. Everyone in the community is invited to attend. Former students, current students and future students are all welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
