On Saturday, August 8th, at approximately 8:42 p.m., Fillmore City Fire, Ventura County Fire, and the Fillmore Police Department were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Central Avenue. Arriving firefighters located a business with smoke inside. Firefighters made access inside the building and located a burned wall. Crews opened the wall to make sure no active fire was burning. A fire investigator responded to the scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Photo credit Angel Esquivel.
