On Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2:30am, Moorpark California Highway Patrol was dispatched to a reported vehicle into a ditch on SR23/Chamber-sburg Road, Bardsdale. Arriving officers located a blue Chevy Cruise six feet off the roadway, into a ditch. The vehicle struck an Edison pole and caused guide wire damage. Driver/passengers abandoned the vehicle; It is unknown how many occupants fled the scene. Moorpark-CHP Office is investigating the crash. Photo credit Angel Esquivel-AE News.
