Arson Suspected in One-Acre Fire

On Tuesday, May 30, at 12:05am Ventura County Fire Department was dispatched to a reported brush fire in the area of Heritage Valley Parkway at Trestle Way, Fillmore. Arriving firefighters reported a one-acre fire near the Santa Clara Riverbed, with a slow spread. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire before 12:30am. No homes were in danger.
