On Friday, August 7, at approximately 11:25 a.m., the California Highway Patrol, Fillmore Fire Department, and Fillmore Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving an AMR ambulance near Old Telegraph Road and Highway 126. The ambulance was transporting a patient at the time of the crash. That patient was transferred to another ambulance and taken to a local hospital for continued medical care. Paramedics requested a second ambulance for the driver involved in the collision; however, the driver declined medical treatment.
