An interesting article has been posted on the Star (on-line version) dealing with Affordable Housing and what the County is doing to answer questions from the State. It's well worth reading. I predict Fillmore will be required to "deal" with the same issues as we move through the Housing Element. It all boils down to density and where to identify the planned units will go. The voters said they don't want density. Unfortunately the State doesn't care about the outome of H & I. The state still mandates that planning move forward.
