Our family has participated in the Adopt a Solider program and my wife's company also sends care packages on a semi-regular basis. I'm wondering if the community of Fillmore could come together and do the same thing? Organize shipments to units serving over seas that has someone from Fillmore serving in it. Participation is not expensive and the shipments contain items for everyday use. Perhaps along with the items a small donation to help cover the costs of shipping?
