STUDENT INFORMATION
1. BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT is set for tomorrow, Sept. 8th . Pizza, cookies and drinks will be available for purchase from 5-6:15 p.m. From 5:30-6:15 p.m. there will be presentations in the gym, followed by classroom visits from 6:15-7:45 p.m. You should have received a flyer on Tuesday to complete with your class schedule and to share with your parents.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Disrupting class or other school activities can result in Administrative Detention or a 1-3 day suspension.
3. PRIDE MEETING TODAY in room J-1 during 2nd lunch. Bring your lunch to the meeting.
4. SHAVE IT VAN – The Shave It van will be on campus every Wednesday after school to purchase shave ice for $3.00 each. Bring your money and enjoy a tasty after school treat!
5. VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE SCHEDULE – 7/8th grade Team 1 and 6th graders practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:45 p.m. 7/8th grade Team 2 practices on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-4:45 p.m.
6. PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY will take place on Monday, Sept. 12th. If you did not have your picture taken during registration you will need to do so on this day. 6th graders will have their pictures taken during 1st period, 7th graders during 2nd period, and 8th graders during 3rd period. Call slips will be sent for students who need to have their photo taken. Also, if you did not purchase pictures during registration but wish to do so now, you may pick up a payment packet in the front office on Thursday or Friday. If you purchased photos during registration but are not happy with those photos, you may have new pictures taken during Picture Make-Up Day but you will need to return the original packet of photos.
7. IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR ID CARD, do not go to get a new ID during picture make-up day. You can purchase a new ID card from the library for $3.00.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT is set for Thursday, Sept. 8th. from 5:15-8 p.m. A flyer was sent home on Tuesday, 9/6 with all the details.
2. PROGRESS REPORTS will be mailed on Monday, 9/12/11.
3. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
