STUDENT INFORMATION

1. SKATEBOARD SIGN UP – See Ms. Morielli in room G-1 by Thursday if you are interested in participating in the skateboard event this Friday. We have two sessions: the first 50 students per session get to participate so don’t delay in signing up!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any firearm, knife, explosive or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and an expulsion recommendation.
3. JERSEY DAY – This Friday wear your favorite jersey.
4. SPRING BREAK is next week, April 6-10. Back to school on Monday, April 13th.
5. MIGRANT SPEECH PRACTICE in room G-4 immediately after school tomorrow and Friday. Practice will end at 3:35 p.m. A snack will be provided. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Ramos.
6. YOUTH ACT CLUB – The awesome Youth Act Club sponsored by Fillmore Sunrise Rotary will meet TODAY during 1st lunch in room K-4. Be there or be square. Help your community while you are having fun!
7. COLLEGE FAIR – Come to the Higher Education College Fair sponsored by UCSB that takes place on TONIGHT at the FMS gym. The evening begins at 6:30 with the high school Renaissance Awards followed by the college fair.
8. WASHINGTON D.C. STUDENTS – Washington Wednesday lunch meeting TODAY in room K-3 during 1st lunch. See the world premier DVD of our trip. Put your order in for the DVD at lunch. See you there! This lunch is only open to students who went to Washington D.C.
9. AUDITION CALL – FMS students, we will be having our 3rd Annual FMS Talent Show. Ms. Faulkner will direct a musical comedy number for 10-20 students to perform at the talent show on June 3rd. If you are interested in auditioning for the singing and dancing cowboy number, sign up in the Library. Auditions will be held TODAY at 3:00 p.m. in the Library. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays at 3:00. Y’all come now, ya here!
10. ATTENTION PIRU STUDENTS ONLY – If you are interested in going to CSI California Science Institute on April 20th or to a Dodger game May 3rd, please stop by the Mentor Room during lunch or after school. Tickets are free and space is limited. First come, first served!
