STUDENT INFORMATION

1. CONGRATULATIONS to the following students for AR word counts: Itzel Pantoja for reading over 2,515,205 words and to the following students for reading over 1 million words this school year: Maria Cardenas, Tyler Brown, Marlene Carvajal, Rocio Medina, Armando Vidal, Sara Beylik, Jorge Hurtado, Robin McHammel, Steven Rodriguez, Gabriela Diaz, Andrea Robles, Mayra Silva, Destiny Gutierrez & Felicity Zavala.
2. NEXT WEEK starting on Monday, 3/9/09 we will change to schedule D which starts with 4th period and ends the day with 3rd period.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Students are NOT allowed in the staff workroom.
4. MATH PROBLEM – Check out the new math problem in The Doghouse. The first ten students to turn in the equation with the correct answer will receive a prize. The deadline is Friday, 3/6 to room G-1.
5. SPRING FEVER – Get ready for our Spring Dance. Tickets go on sale soon - $4 in advance, $5 at the door. The dance takes place on March 27th from 5:30-8 p.m. See you there, or be square!
6. 8th GRADE GIRLS/NEW INFORMATION – For girls interested in the Miss Fillmore/Miss Teen Fillmore Pageant, the Mother/Daughter Tea will be combined with the first practice starting Wed., 3/4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building.
