STUDENT INFORMATION
1. MIGRANT SPEECH TEAM MEMBERS – Mandatory meeting today during 2nd lunch in room I-4. If you are unable to make this mandatory meeting, make sure you see Ms. Betzel by the end of the school today.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Causing physical injury to another student will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible notification of the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. 8th GRADERS – Remember, for the end of the year trip to the park you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 for the year and no suspensions in the 4th quarter.
4. WOULD YOU LIKE to visit college campuses? Do you work hard and get good grades? AVID is now accepting applications for the next school year. If you are interested in applying, please pick up an application from either Miss Atwood in C-2 or Mrs. Wyand in the office. Applications are due April 29th at 3 p.m. There are 7 eighth grade openings and 10 seventh grade openings.
5. DIABOLOS – There are only 6 diabolos left. Bring your $20.00 tomorrow. Don’t be left out!
PARENT INFORMATION
1. ZANGLE PARENT CONNECT – If you have signed up for this service but have not received your PIN number, we apologize. The District is working to correct the situation and hopefully we will have PIN’s and passwords soon.
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. Fill out the form at the following link and return it to the middle school office. 3. 7th-12th GRADE STUDENTS are now required to get a whooping cough immunization before starting the 2011-2012 school year. Make an appointment now for your student(s) to receive this required vaccination.
4. WEBSITE INFO: Our Calendar of Events is posted at the Fillmore Unified School District Website at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Once there, you can click on Fillmore Middle School and you will find the calendar of events listed in the upper left corner. You will also find a cafeteria menu and staff email access.
