STUDENT INFORMATION

1. STUDENTS OF THE MONTH – Congratulations to Grade 6 students Evelyn Alferez and Moussa Assphor; Grade 7 students Banely Arevalo and Nicholas Johnson; Grade 8 students Amber Wilmot and Lester Legan.
2. STAFF OF THE MONTH – Congratulations to our secretary Mrs. Ecklund and to our American History teacher, Ms. Beal!
3. SCHOOL RULES – If you ride your bike to school, please lock your bike in the bike racks located in front of the B building, not along the fence at the parking lot. They will be safer in the bike racks.
4. WASHINGTON DC mandatory meeting every Wednesday in K-3 during 1st lunch for all students going on the Washington DC trip.
5. YOUTH ACT CLUB MEETING TODAY in K-4 during 1st lunch. All members bring a friend for treats and crafts to serve our community. Have fun and do a good thing at the same time. The more students, the merrier. See you at 1st lunch in K-4.
6. CONGRATULATIONS to our Guess Who Trivia Contest Part 2 winners: Liliana Zamora, Celene Cruz, Clarissa Martinez, Claudia Murillo and Yolanda Martinez.
7. THE DOGHOUSE – If you have an interesting story, poem, picture or recipe to share with others and would like to publish it in the FMS Doghouse, please email it (amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us) or turn in a copy to Ms. Morielli in room G-1.
8. THE DOGHOUSE MATH PROBLEM - The first 10 students to turn in the correct answer with work will receive a prize. The due date is this Friday, January 9. Turn your answer in to Ms. Morielli in G-1.
9. HEY YOU! Wake up! It’s time to get your yearbook and it’s also your last chance to get your name on the yearbook. They are still $40 so hurry and order. You snooze, you lose! See Miss Beal in K-3 or the yearbook table during 1st lunch by Friday, 1/23.
10. LIBRARY INFO – Everyone’s library book is due! Write down your title and renew your book or return the book back to the library so you won’t receive a fine. You may return or renew without your ID card at any time.
11. REPORT CARDS were mailed yesterday. If you have grade changes, they must be submitted in writing to Mrs. Brock from your teacher.
12. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY – Ask Marisol Torres and Angelica Magana why you should say paper, not plastic the next time you are at the grocery store.
