STUDENT INFORMATION
1. FMS HOLIDAY PLAY TONIGHT – Come and join the FMS drama program for their first play of the year: CSI – Christmas Scene Investigators. The play starts at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. See you there for some holiday spirit!
2. SCHOOL RULES – In January the “no ID card line” for the cafeteria will not have as many food choices as the other lines. If you want lunch choices, you will need to carry and show your ID card.
3. CONGRATULATIONS to Suzane Arana and Calista Godfrey who were selected as finalists for the 2011 Safe & Wise Water Ways poster contest. They competed among thousands of entries and their artwork will be displayed in the state Capitol building during National Safe Boating Week in May, 2011. Way to go Suzane and Calista!
4. FREE MOVIE – The Fillmore Citizen’s Patrol annual Christmas movie is being offered for free for all children on Saturday, Dec. 11th at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The movie this year is “Megamind”. Plan to attend this fun event!
5. TODAY IS BLACK & WHITE SPIRT DAY - The class with the most spirit wins a prize!
6. YOUTH ACT CLUB is continuing the food drive on behalf of Rotary. Please bring in canned/boxed/packaged/unopened/non-perishable food items from now until Dec. 12th. Rotary’s goal is to make 70 baskets for families in the Fillmore/Piru areas. We will collect all the food donations on the 12th.
7. PIZZA LUNCH – Be on time to all your classes. All students that are on time to every class for the month of December will be entered into a drawing for a pizza lunch with their friends on December 16th!
8. YEARBOOKS – This is it! This is the last chance to get your yearbook for $45 with your name on it for free. Yearbooks will be $50 after winter break.

1. WINTERCOATDRIVE.COM – The Santa Clara Valley Legal Aid’s 4th winter coat drive will give new winter coats to children in Fillmore. If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation go to this listed website or you may make a check payable to: Winter Coat Fund, c/o Laura Bartels, 540 Sespe Avenue, Suite #2, Fillmore, CA 93015.
2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME to come to our school any time. Please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor’s pass before going on campus.
3. WEBSITE INFO: Our Calendar of Events is posted at the Fillmore Unified School District Website at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Once there, you can click on Fillmore Middle School and you will find the calendar of events listed in the upper left corner. You will also find a cafeteria menu and staff email access.
