STUDENT INFORMATION
1. THE VALENTINES DANCE is coming so mark your calendar for Friday, February 10th from 5:30-8 p.m. Listen to future bulletins for ticket sales information. Our school dances are so much fun and we hope for a large turnout.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Cell phones are not allowed at FMS. However, if you bring one, they must be put away and not used during school hours. If your phone is out during school hours, it may be confiscated and a parent will have to come and pick it up.
3. YEARBOOK INFO – Hey you, yeah I mean you! Listen up or you’ll miss the last yearbook sale that where you still get your name on your yearbook. January is the last month to purchase your yearbook for $45 with your name or nickname on it. Order your yearbook in K-3 or at the 2nd lunch yearbook table. See YOU at the yearbook table!!
4. FMS WEBSITE – Be sure to visit our website for all the latest information about our school. The website is: fillmore.k12.ca.us. Click on Fillmore Middle School (or any other school within FUSD).
5. PENNIES FOR PATIENTS – Did you know that the money you are raising will help fund research? In medicine, research means the careful study of a disease with the goal of finding a cure. Your donations will help fund 480 researchers in 15 different countries on five continents! Since its founding in 1949, the Society has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
6. FILLMORE BAND BOOSTERS presents Conjunto Zacamandu and Rey Fresco with a special appearance by Rico and Mambo Morning Show on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the middle school gym. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from band students or at the door. For more information call Jennie at 524-5632 or 415-5632 or Lisa at 524-1697. All proceeds benefit the district band students. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. BE SURE VISIT OUR WEBSITE at fillmore.k12.ca.us. Click on any school within the District to find all types of information such as staff email connections, cafeteria menus, available programs, etc.
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
