STUDENT INFORMATION

1. THIS WEEK begins Rotation D and you will start school with period 4 and then go to periods 5, 6, 1, 2 and 3.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Crimestoppers offers a $50 reward for information regarding a crime. The person reporting the information will remain anonymous. Give your information to Mr. Schieferle or Mrs. Godfrey.
3. ASB NEWSLETTER
- We are looking for student and staff articles and/or poetry for our November issue of THE DOGHOUSE. Don’t be shy. Space is limited.
- Dear Jean Marie: If you have a problem, don’t be shy. Write your problem down and drop it into the envelope marked confidential on the outside of Mrs. Wyand’s office door.
4. RED RIBBON & HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES
Wednesday, Oct. 29
- “SHADE OUT DRUGS DAY” Wear red, crazy hair & sunglasses.
- HAUNTED HOUSE – Visit our very own Haunted House open during both
lunches. Look for the “dare to enter sign”. Cost is $2.00.
Thursday, Oct. 30
- “GIVE DRUGS THE SLIP DAY” – Wear your pajamas, slippers & bring a
stuffed animal

Friday, Oct. 31
- HALLOWEEN COSTUME – Wear your Halloween costume to school. Please
do not wear a mask.
- HAUNTED HOUSE – Open during both lunches. Cost is $2.00
- DOOR CONTEST – See possible theme messages on the Post It Handout in
your classroom to help the class with ideas. The top four winners of the door
contest win: 1st Place: Skateboard keychain; 2nd Place: Popcorn; 3rd Place:
Goodie Pouch
5. 1st QUARTER GRADES were mailed home yesterday. If you have a grade change, it must be submitted IN WRITING from your teacher to Mrs. Brock. Last date for grade changes is Monday, 10/27/08.
6. SCRAPBOOKING CLUB MEETING TODAY at lunch in room B-1 with Mrs. Wohlers. All 1st lunch students are welcome to attend, including new members. Please bring your lunch and we’ll elect officers and create our scrapbooks.
7. RECYCLING – Please, do not throw trash in the recycle bins. Plastic bottles only!
8. 8th GRADERS come and get your photo taken for the 8th grade class photo on Friday, 10/24 at 7:50 a.m. Go to the back field behind Mrs. Garon’s office to be in the photo.
