2. SCHOOL RULES - Sexual Harassment/Sexual Battery – Federal and state laws make sexual harassment illegal, whether it involves boys, girls, opposite-sex or same-sex situations. Some examples of sexual harassment are calling out obscene names, passing dirty notes, calling someone at home, telling dirty stories, staring at a person’s body in a sexual way, purposely bumping into someone or standing in their way so they can’t pass, writing graffiti or starting rumors about someone’s sexual orientation or behavior. Touching someone in a sexual way (pinching, touching or grabbing) is considered sexual battery. This is serious and the harasser can be arrested by police and expelled from school. This behavior will not be tolerated!
