STUDENT INFORMATION
1. THIS WEEK is Friendship Week. Celebrate all the great people in your life and tell them thanks for being your friend and make a few new ones too! Send your friend a friendship gram during lunch today. Join our “Who Knows Best” game show on Wednesday, or get a buddy picture on Thursday or Friday. Cost for grams or buddy picture is $1.00 each. Don’t forget, Friday is Twin Day so grab a pal and start planning now!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Please remember that you are expected to be in your seat when the tardy bell rings. Three tardies will result in an Administrative Detention.
3. INDIAN EDUCATION – Mrs. Ibarra who works for the Ventura County Indian Education Program is looking to recruit new students to the Ventura County Indian Education Program. Students are eligible if he/she has any Native American heritage. No proof is required and enrollment forms are in the front office.
4. YEARBOOK SALES ARE HERE! Best price of the year - $40.00 with your name free. Add a nickname or an icon for $5.00. Check you the yearbook table at both lunches to see the icon symbols. Any questions, see Miss Beal in K-3.

6. FMS WRESTLING PROGRAM – If you are interested in being on the FMS Wrestling Team this year, practice is held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-5 p.m. in the high school wrestling room. All you need is proof of insurance and a physical. Forms may be picked up in the front office with Mrs. Ecklund. The first practice is today, 9/13.
7. CROSS COUNTRY PRACTICE is today and tomorrow from 3-4:15. Meet at the ASB room. Don’t forget your packet and team fees are due by Wednesday, 9/14.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. PROGRESS REPORTS were mailed home yesterday, 9/12/11.
2. ZANGLE PARENT CONNECT – If you had access to Zangle Parent Connection last year you do not have to complete paperwork again this year. Your pin number and password should be the same as last year.
3. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
