STUDENT INFORMATION

1. WELCOME to Fillmore Middle School and the 2011-12 school year!
2. SCHOOL RULES – It is very important that you are on time to school every day and on time to each class period. School starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m.
3. LATE START DAYS will be on Friday’s this school year. Start time will be 9:00 a.m. The first late start day is this Friday, 8/19/11.
4. LUNCH TIMES – First lunch takes place from 11:05-11:45 am. Second lunch is from 12:05-12:45 pm. 6th grade students go to 1st lunch and 7/8th grade students go to 2nd lunch.
5. BUS RIDERS – If you did not fill out and turn in a bus form during registration, please pick up a form from the office. You will need to get this signed form in as soon as possible.
6. CELL PHONES are not allowed at Fillmore Middle School. If you bring one, please know that you should not be using it during school time. Make sure you have them turned off at all times. If you use them, they may be confiscated and a parent will be required to come and pick it up.
7. SKATEBOARDS – If you ride a skateboard to school, you must bring your own lock and lock your skateboard in the skateboard rack located in the front of the school between the B and C buildings.
8. STUDENT AGENDA BOOKS will be passed out today during your 1st period class. 6th period classes will be reviewing the books and how they should be used.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
