STUDENT INFORMATION

1. PRIDE IN AMERICA COMMITTEE – Potluck dinner this evening starting at 5:30 p.m.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of unauthorized devices (cell phones, cameras, I-pods, etc.) will result in the item being confiscated and your parent will have to pick it up.
3. 8th GRADERS wishing to participate in Football, practice will begin Monday, June 21st. Please report to the lower locker room at the high school no later than 3:15 p.m. You will need to bring $100.00 for your spirit pack.
4. THE WASHINGTON DC TRIP for Spring, 2011 has been planned and 6th & 7th graders need to get your application to attend from Miss Beal in room K-3. There are still some spots available.
5. MINIMUM DAYS this week today through Thursday, June 10th. All students will be released at 12:15 p.m. on these days.
6. NO LATE START on Wednesday, 6/9. All students need to be at school at 7:55 a.m. and will be released at 12:15 p.m.
7. LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
• Tuesday, June 8th – 8th grade Shiells Park 8-11:30 am; Minimum Day
• Wednesday, June 9th – 7th grade Shiells Park 8-12 pm; 8th grade Promotion Practice;
Minimum Day
• Thursday, June 10th – 8th grade Promotion 11:00 am; Last Day of School
Students released at 12:15 a.m.
8. 7th & 8th GRADERS – For your Shiells Park trips this week the Shave It van will be there selling shaved ice for $3 and water as well. They’ll be there from 9:30-11:00 am. All sales will go to the Washington D.C. trip fundraiser.
9. LIBRARY INFO – All textbooks are due when your teacher tells you to bring them in. Teachers may bring classes to the library at will to check textbooks in or inform students to return them to the library. Thank you everyone for a great and wonderful year!
10. IF YOU OWE MONEY to the cafeteria, please pay your debt. If you don’t, your debt will still be owed at the beginning of the new school year.
11. YEARBOOK INFO –Yearbooks are on sale after school until we sell out. $50.00 cash only – No checks will be accepted!

PARENT INFORMATION

1. 8th GRADE PROMOTION takes place on Thursday, 6/10/10 at 11:00 a.m. Please remember that the gym fills up quickly and we start on time! Also, we are not allowing balloons into the gym as they block the view of the audience. We also do not encourage the renting of limo’s, but if you choose to do so, please note that they will not be allowed to park in front of the school. You will need to arrange for them to park in the adjacent neighborhood.
