STUDENT INFORMATION
1. PRIDE IN AMERICA committee meeting this week in room J-1 on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any sort of firearm, knife or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
3. CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER – Students who participated in this year’s chocolate fundraiser, please pick up your prizes beginning on Wednesday in room G-1 during both lunches or in the morning before school starts.
4. MONEY JUMP – The prize for cash will be held during lunch in the pavilion on Wednesday. Students who qualify to participate in the money jump will receive an invitation.
5. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TOP SELLERS – 1st Place: Samantha Gunter; 2nd Place: Israel De La Cerda; 3rd Place: Karina Contreras. Please see Mrs. Ecklund for your prizes.
6. DEAL OR NO DEAL – All students who participated in the chocolate fundraiser have chance to win cash and prizes. The names will be drawn on Wednesday during lunch.
7. LIFETOUCH PHOTOS – Pictures and/or picture money was due yesterday, 5/10/10. Give this money to the teacher who gave you the pictures (most likely your PE teacher).
8. CAFETERIA INFO – All monies owed to the cafeteria must be paid by May 25th. Starting today, there will be no charges allowed on your account.
9. NEW INFO ON FREE PHYSICALS – “Free” physicals will be given TOMORROW, May 12th starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Fillmore Medical Clinic (next to Taco Bell). Physicals are MANDATORY for ALL FOOTBALL ATHLETES that wish to start spring football practice as well as any FHS or Class of 2014 athletes that wish to participate in ANY SPORT. Also, 6th – 8th grade students that want to participate in wrestling must also have physicals. Physical forms must be signed by a parent and/or legal guardian prior to physical. Physical forms are available in the FMS office.
10. PLEASE TURN IN any applications such as UC Summer Writing Academy, Summer Academic Advancement Academy, AVID or 2010 Young Writers Camp to Mrs. Wyand right away!

2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your students to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
