STUDENT INFORMATION

1. BEHAVIOR ISSUES – Students who are suspended during this quarter may be excluded from extracurricular, fun activities. We had our discipline assemblies yesterday and we expect all of our FMS students to be on your best behavior so that you don’t miss out on all the great activities we have planned.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Students who repeatedly refuse to attend administrative detention in room D-3 will receive a suspension. If you cannot attend your assigned detention, see Mr. Carroll in D-3 for approval BEFORE your detention time.
3. YOUTH ACT CLUB – The awesome Youth Act Club sponsored by Fillmore Sunrise Rotary will meet on Wednesday, 3/25 during 1st lunch in room K-4. Be there or be square! Help your community while you are having fun!
4. ALL COLORGUARD MEMBERS meet after school today in the band room to practice for upcoming parades. Attendance is required if you plan to perform at Magic Mountain.
5. 3rd QUARTER GRADES were mailed home yesterday. If you are missing a grade or need a grade changed, you have until Monday, 3/30 to have a change made. All changes must be in writing from your teacher. See Mrs. Brock for all changes.
6. MARCH 27 SPRING DANCE – Get ready for our Spring Dance. Tickets are on sale during both lunches - $4 in advance, $5 at the door. The dance takes place on March 27th from 5:30-8 p.m. Pizza and beverages will also be available for you to purchase. When you buy a dance ticket, your name will automatically be entered in a drawing for prizes. We will draw names for door prizes every 10 minutes.
7. CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER money is now due to Ms. Morielli in G-1. Thank you for your support and hard work.
8. MENTOR PROGRAM – Any student who is in the mentor program that is interested in going to the California Science Center on April 7th should stop by the mentor room after school or talk to Mario or Norma when you see them on campus.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PARENT MEET & GREET and ELAC MEETING – Our Meet & Greet takes place on Friday, 3/27 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and immediately following will be our ELAC (English Learners Advisory Council) starting at 8:30 a.m. Hope to see you here!
2. ANY PARENT interested in helping with door prizes at our Spring Dance on 3/27, ASB is requesting donations of $5 gift certificates to Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Target or any other business entity that will encourage our students to attend a social event.
3. ANY PARENT who wishes to participate in our school’s newspaper by writing an interesting article or poetry, sharing a favorite recipe, or submitting photos of our school events, please contact Ms. Morielli in room G-1 or email her at: amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us
