STUDENT INFORMATION

1. SCRAPBOOKING CLUB will meet tomorrow, 2/11 in room B-1 during 2nd lunch. New members are always welcome.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person will result in a 3-5 day suspension.
3. GATE MEETING will take place in room I-4 after school on Thursday, 2/12.
4. MISSING SKATEBOARD – If you are a 6th grade boy who has been missing your skateboard for a few weeks, please report to Mrs. Godfrey’s office after school.
5. NAMING CONTEST – The City of Fillmore is sponsoring a contest to name the new 22-acre community park which is being built at C & River Streets, next to the new skateboard park. The winner of the contest will receive $50.00. You can submit your entry to Fillmore City Hall, Attention Recreation Dept., 250 Central Ave., Fillmore, CA 93015 or e-mailed to amumme@ci.fillmore.ca.us or faxed to 524-5707. The park is expected to be finished in August and will have tennis & basketball courts, baseball & football fields, bike paths and a concession stand!
6. VALENTINE DANCE – The dance is Thursday, 2/12 from 5:30-8 p.m. Tickets are on sale on the pavilion stage during both lunches. The cost of the dance is $4.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door. There will be chocolates, candy hearts, pizza and beverages for sale too. Signed parent permission slips are required. This is a friendship dance, not a couple’s dance. See you there!
7. MARK YOUR CALENDARS – No school on Friday, 2/13/09 or Monday, 2/16/09.
8. SCHEDULE C – We will change to schedule C which begins with Per. 3 on Tuesday, 2/17/09/
9. MATH PROBLEM – Check out the math problem in the February issue of The Doghouse. The first 10 students to turn in their work and correct answer will receive a prize. Deadline to turn in your correct answer is February 11th to G-1.
