STUDENT INFORMATION

1. WELCOME BACK! Don’t forget that we start back with period 1 today and all 6th graders now attend 2nd lunch and 7/8th graders attend 1st lunch.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Start 2009 off right! Be on time to school every day and come prepared for class and ready to learn!
3. LIBRARY INFO – Everyone’s library book is due! Write down your title and renew your book or return the book back to the library so you won’t receive a fine. You may return or renew without your ID card at any time.
4. CAREER LUNCH TODAY in room J-1 during 1st lunch. LAPD police officer Joel Frias will tell you what it takes to be a police officer on the streets of L.A. What type of training do you receive in the beginning and what type of ongoing training is continued throughout your career? Come and get the facts.
5. REPORT CARDS were mailed yesterday. If you have grade changes, they must be submitted in writing to Mrs. Brock from your teacher.
6. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY – Ask Marisol Torres and Angelica Magana why you should say paper, not plastic the next time you are at the grocery store.
