STUDENT INFORMATION

1. THE PEOPLE OF VENTURA COUNTY need your help. Foodshare, Ventura County’s food bank is in need of our support. $10 buys $180 worth of food for needy families in our community. Our goal is to raise $1,000.00 so we can buy $18,000.00 worth of food. You can help by just bringing $1.00 or more if you’d like. Give it to your 2nd period teacher each day this week. Thanks for helping!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Harassing or threatening any student or adult will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible expulsion.
3. SCRAPBOOKING CLUB will meet Wednesday during 2nd lunch in room B1. New materials have been donated! Please bring your lunch and come check out the new supplies! New members are always welcome.
4. WASHINGTON DC mandatory meeting in K-3 every Wednesday during 1st lunch for all students going on the DC trip.
5. OUR LOST & FOUND is growing. If you have lost a sweater or jacket, come to the Attendance Office and see if your items has been found.
6. COLORGUARD MEMBERS – Don’t forget, practice after school TODAY!
7. DEAR JEAN MARIE – If you have a problem and need some advise, write to Dear Jean Marie. All write-ins are confidential. Place it in the envelope outside Mrs. Wyand’s office door.
8. FRIENDSHIP PHOTOS is the time for Valentines and celebrating friendships. During both lunches this week, have your picture taken on the pavilion stage behind the curtains with your best friends. The cost is only $2.00, but the memories last a lifetime.
9. EQUIPMENT CHECK OUT – ASB is looking for student volunteers to monitor and supervise our sports equipment during lunch. Please see Ms. Morielli for more details.
10. THE DOGHOUSE – If you have an interesting story, poem, picture or recipe to share with others and would like to publish it in the FMS Doghouse, please email it (amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us) or turn in a copy to Ms. Morielli in room G-1.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PROGRESS GRADES were mailed home yesterday.
2. MEET & GREET is scheduled for Friday, 1/30 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. We will be sharing the FMS Calendar of Events for the remainder of the school year.
3. ANY PARENT who wishes to participate in our school’s newspaper by writing an interesting article or poetry, sharing a favorite recipe, or submitting photos of our school events, please contact Ms. Morielli in room G-1 or email her at: amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us
